Nurses are not political
Most of the young people I’ve met who enter the nursing profession have no political aspiration.
I’ve been in the profession for a very long time (yes, I’m far closer to retiring than beginning) and meet very few interested or remotely knowledgeable future or current nurses who care about politics. The most I can say is, if they care, they don’t say so. I’ve earned every level of degree in nursing that one might aspire to, and politics rarely has entered conversation, that is, until the doctoral level. (Doctoral, as research doctor not MD – I am not confused).
